Film screening for Rave on for the River Avon directed by Eva Perrin.
Rave On For The Avon is a powerful documentary set in East Bristol, where a beloved stretch of the River Avon offers healing, connection, and community—but is plagued by pollution and a swimming ban. Following the grassroots efforts of the Conham Bathing Group, the film exposes the urgent ecological crisis facing UK rivers and highlights a growing movement for cleaner, safer waters.
Featuring local voices and supported by national organisations like Surfers Against Sewage and the Rivers Trust, Rave On For The Avon is both a celebration of wild swimming and a call to action—inviting audiences to protect the blue spaces they love.
We’re thrilled to be screening the film at the campsite on Friday 25th July as part of a very special day of events in collaboration with This Must Be The Place. Don’t miss this unique opportunity—read more here.
