Frequently asked questions.
Do we have to pre-book camping spaces?
We are getting increasingly busier every year, so we do recommend booking.
Can you access the beach from Bedruthan Steps?
Unfortunately during the winter storms the cliff steps leading down to Bedruthan Steps Beach, which is maintained by the National Trust, had a major rockfall and have been deemed too dangerous to be used. The National Trust have stated these cliff steps to the beach will be closed until further notice. We do not recommend trying to climb down to the beach as it can be extremely dangerous - this is the North Atlantic coast - the currents are strong, the tides come right up to the cliff and you can easily get cut off.
Are there electric hookups?
Our site has no power - so we encourage you to bring your own solar-powered batteries. We do not all generators - even small suitcase ones.
What facilities are onsite?
Due to our remote location, we have very basic facilities but they are well maintained and cleaned regularly. There are four recently added hot indoor showers, and one outdoor shower along with four flushing toilets. You can view the rest of our facilities here.
Can we empty our waste from motor homes on site?
Yes, you can empty your chemical disposal onsite.
